Do you have any of these Symptoms of Sleep Apnea?
The symptoms of sleep apnea can be subtle, like a morning headache. We have a lot of female patients that just present with morning headaches that are a little more subtle than some of the other symptoms that do occur.
Most commonly, the severe ones are extremely loud snoring, cessation in breathing– in other words, if your bed partner is elbowing you in the middle of the night– or excessive sleepiness during the day.
But interesting enough, there can sometimes be no symptoms. And that’s why the Center for Disease Control estimates that 20 million people in the country have the disease and are undiagnosed and don’t realize they have it.
Because the symptoms can be so subtle that it may go unnoticed. Either way, they have a lasting effect on your body. And it’s something that we need to get diagnosed.
