How Do I Get Diagnosed With Sleep Apnea?

So we can assess your risk factor for sleep apnea here by just questioning you and asking you know how you feel. But really, the only way to diagnose it is by what’s called a sleep study.

A sleep study is done sometimes in an overnight sleep lab where you actually go there to sleep. And sometimes it’s done as a home sleep test in a similar manner. This is done by working through your physician and your medical insurance to have the test sent to you or have you sent to the tests, depending on what your insurance company does and how you want to deal with it.

The diagnosis comes clear after the sleep test is done. From that point on, we can decide what the best treatment is for you.
